We in the strongest terms denounce the political assassination of American Conservative activist Charlie Kirk, while debating students at Utah Valley University on 10 September 2025.

The tragic circumstances should never happen when people are debating and sharing and communicating their viewpoints, which even if people do not agree on social or political issues, no-one, absolutely no-one, should ever lose their lives because of opposing viewpoints.

Charlie Kirk founded and built up his Conservative organisation Turning Point USA at the age of just eighteen.

He loved debating and over the years set up a podcast on YouTube, which he used to teach the blessings of Christianity and his Conservative political beliefs, and had no problem debating, talking and speaking to people who didn't share his viewpoints, being respectful and non-judgemental with opponents.

Charlie Kirk went to every college and university throughout the United States and when he was assassinated, he was on his American Comeback tour, to continue debating, talking and speaking about the differences in American society.

His widow made a public video about the pain of losing her husband and their children, a father and vowed to continue her husband's work and his Turning Point USA organisation.

We hope for the people of the United States of America that the temperature and sparks defuse and that all the different communities within American society can come together and unite and to denounce that violence has no place in American society.

If you find yourself getting overheated, especially in debating opposing societal and political viewpoints, take a break and come back the next day for more debating, talking and speaking, and being respectful towards each other, even if you disagree.
